Love this place. Waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable. Love the pasta and crawdads. Had a blast. It can get very busy on the weekends but they handle it awesomely.
This one kind of oscillates between ratings for me. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful and the porch was awesome to sit out on. While the waitress was attentive to our needs, the food service was rather slow on the day that we went (a whole hour to get our entrees). Im not sure if this is par for the restaurant or owing to the fact that there was a private party going on; however, we were the only other people in the restaurant. The food however really makes up for the inconvenience of the time situation. The ribs that I ordered were spectacular: tender, flavorful, and falling off of the bone. The smoky goat burger was stupendous as well with just the right amount of tangy from the goat cheese to peak through the garlic sauce. Even the fries were the right amount of crispy and quite tasty. So for whatever the restaurant was lacking in the speed department, it more than made up for it in flavor. Would try again.
First off, the coffee and smoothie was great. So they offer a Belgian Waffle for brunch, my buddy ordered it, and it was an Eggo brand toaster waffle. He ate some of the waffle, told the server he didn't want it because it was literally an Eggo, and they admitted they don't do the Belgian Waffle anymore. Then they offered to take half off. Why wouldn't they just take the meal, comp it, and offer anything else? Either way, there was one server with a good attitude, the busser was pretty polite, but it wasn't a great experience. Took us like 20 minutes for a mimosa pitcher too. I was just trying to brunch with my boys.
My wife and I ate on an early Saturday evening . Our waitress Lizzy was friendly and attentive. It was her first day but she acted like a seasoned waitress. The salads arrived quickly and were fresh and delicious. Our entrees, Ribeye steak as well as their Grilled Shrimp/grits were perfectly prepared and tasted great although the grits were a bit on the runny side. The prices were on par with similar restaurants in other larger towns. We will return when visiting in the future.
Nice clean place but waited more than an hour and 30 min and never got our food. The mimosas were weak. Cannot comment on the food because it never arrived. We were a group of 10 people. The other tables received there food and we ordered and arrived there first. Could have been that we were Hispanic? I didn't get treated any differently from the waiter but we never got our food and so decided to leave and pay for our drinks.
