They don’t serve espresso here. There’s a reason for an espresso machine and an adjustable grinder, for good beans. They would do good for their business to educate themselves on what and why, learn trouble shooting in regards to the grind and pull. People visiting from all over the US and world that drink real coffee drinks, and crave that amazing flavor, will be hugely dissapointed. The employees seem nice enough but the vibe is insular and defensive which is unfortunate given that the area is growing and trying to attract commerce. I advise anyone getting into this biz to take a trip to a place like New Orleans where real beans are roasted and to learn from other successful businesses that have been doing it a long time. Or at least watch some YouTube videos.
Had breakfast there. I was hoping for a traditional eggs, bacon, toast/biscuit, hash browns breakfast. Didn't see anything like that on the menu. Ordered bacon,egg,and cheese croissant and a sausage,egg,cheese croissant. Both tasted like Jimmy Dean microwave croissants. Coffee was weak, not good. My wife got a waffle and biscuits and gravy. Same. Tasted like it all came straight out of the freezer, into the microwave. Staff were friendly. That's the only positive thing I can say. Won't be back.
Nice grilled wrap menus, coffee was good and reasonably priced. Not too crowded nice Lil cozy spot, good tunes!!!
My husband and I visted every day before during and after the folk festival. The coffee and smoothies are awesome, AND the staff is amazing! Neesha and Danine were a breath of fresh air. They enjoy their job and it makes the whole coffee shop experience special. They arw very knowledgeable about the Beaver Bend/Hochatown area. They are the friendliest folks in town. Definitely recommend, 10/10.
