Good service. Good float for the whole family on the Mountain Fork. Ambush provides the 4 mile float in kayaks, starting north of U.S. Hwy 70, which takes about 2-3 hours once you're on the water. Just right. Nothing too challenging or dangerous on the Mountain Fork, and they won't put you on the river if the water is flowing too fast. Good beginner's float. Canoes are NOT best for this river, and the 8 mile float offered by other outfitters is too long unless you want a lot of paddling.

The staff was great and the water was beautiful. I WOULD NOT suggest taking small children. The rapids and current really strong and hard to fight against when we went.
