From the moment we pulled up to the Star Creek cabin, we knew this was going to be a wonderful cabin. As we walked in we were in awe of the cabins beauty and decor. The cabin is cozy and feels like home. It was extremely clean and had all the amenities we needed. There are many things to explore and enjoy in this area. We enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit every night. The recommendations on where to eat were very helpful. We enjoyed pizza at the Grateful Head and the best breakfast ever at Steven's Gap restaurant. If you are looking for a cabin to enjoy, this is the ONE!
WONDERFUL experience! We stayed in the Stay Awhile cabin. It was my husband, 18 month old, and myself. It was a fantastic experience. The cabin was super nice. It was in a great location, felt secluded but not to far from everything. The wifi was down when we first got there and they came and fixed it immediately. The kitchen was stocked well, sheets and towels were nice. It was the perfect family vacation with a little one!
Perfect family vacation!
The cabin was beautiful! The pictures online are nice but they really don't do it justice. We stayed at the Iron Horse and there were probably 20 family members and the cabin was big enough to accommodate everyone. The only negative thing I would say is that when we got there to check in shortly after 4, the door code given was not working (turned out the staff didn't change it). But once we gained access we quickly forgot about how frustrated we were and we all felt like kids picking out rooms in a new house. There is tons to do around the cabin. The hot tub was a good size, the pool table saw lots of action as well as the Foosball table, and we brought a good amount of games to play in the large living area. We visited a couple restaurants and we definitely enjoyed the moon tower. Grateful head pizza was just OK in my opinion. We got the impression that that they weren't prepared to accommodate a large group and that reflected in the food. There is tons to do in the area for all age groups. We had little kids, aged 1-4, and an 11 year old who loved the petting zoo and the beautiful lake. We also had teenagers, 13-19 who also found things to do. The highlight of the trip for me was the jet skis! We were able to rent them from the blue beaver marina and they were a blast! We didn't want this trip to end and we're planning on returning soon
This was the 2nd time we stayed in Broken Bow and I must say the first cabin we stayed in was so much more like home and inviting than the 2nd one we stayed. We stayed in the Cornerstone Lodge the 2nd time and it needs some more homey decor and the kitchen wasn't stocked anything like the other cabin. The book that you leave comments in had been full for quite sometime. We even left a day early, I will be very careful the next time I book a stay there.
Best place for a fun and relaxing family vacation!!!! My family goes every summer for a week!
