Truly had a blessing happen today. The family went horseback riding and unfortunately later In our ride we found out the place we decided to go riding did not take safety guidelines seriously. We watched a young little girl get trampled by her horse because the company did not effectively check the saddles. We assumed that our safety was in good hands however this was not the case. Not to mention that helmets were not used. By the grace of god the child was unharmed. It angers me that safety guidelines were not implemented for young children. The saddle was to small to accompany a mother and a child. Not to mention the cinch was not checked on any of the horses. The group we were with was way to large thus increasing the risk of having a spooked horse. Trey and I were right next to the little girl. Thank god we are all ok just totally freaked out. I've ridden horses a lot and I understand that horses are unpredictable and accidents can happen however this one was preventable.
We had a great time on the 2 hr ride! Great people, great horses, and great big forest made for a very fun adventure. We will be back.

We loved it! We booked the 1 hour ride and it was one of the best trail we have ever been on - not for beginners though, the terrain was a bit steep in some places, but so beautiful , we got to go through a little river, awesome views and the horses were just all so sweet. Mine wanted to constantly stop and eat, but it was fine with me, it was a pleasant experience. Definitely don;t have second guesses if you want to try it!
